The CSH Unites event provided students with opportunities to develop essential skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity through various tasks. Students explored the interconnectedness of disciplines by working hands-on with a variety of materials, tools, and concepts, discovering how things work, how to build them, and how to fix them.
Additionally, students unleashed their creativity through writing, collaborating to craft compelling stories. High school students had the opportunity to mentor younger children, fostering a love for learning and building connections across age groups.
This year's event built on last year's introduction of Humanities-themed booths and stations, broadening the scope of activities to include social science-related topics. These additions created a rich, inclusive environment where participants engaged with creative writing, storytelling, and other humanities-based activities alongside traditional STEAM projects.
The STEAMANITIES event proved to be a vibrant, educational, and enjoyable experience, bringing the community together to celebrate learning, creativity, and collaboration.
