LEGO SPIKE Prime is part of the LEGO Learning System. It’s an exciting hands-on solution that uses colorful lego building elements, easy to use hardware, and an intuitive drag and drop coding language to engage primary school students in STEAM learning, putting them on the path to becoming resilient, independent thinkers.
The Lego Spike program at Lloyd Harbor and West Side elementary schools benefited students in grades 2-6. From easy entry projects to limitless creative design possibilities, including the option to explore text-based coding, SPIKE Prime helps students learn the essential skills needed to become innovators of tomorrow… while having fun!
Teaching robotics and programming in a fun way at the elementary level sets up students for further robotics and programming in high school and beyond!
